Saw Palmetto (Liquid Herb)

$78.95

Saw Palmetto (Serenoa repens) is a small palm-like tree native to Florida and the southeastern United States. The ripe berries are rich in fatty acids, sterols, and other active compounds and have been used for centuries in traditional herbal medicine. They must be harvested within a specific time during the autumn to get the optimal level of active constituents.

Saw Palmetto berries have a long history of traditional use among Native American tribes, particularly the Seminole and Mayan peoples, who used the berries as a food source and an herbal remedy. Historically, Saw Palmetto berries were used for urinary and reproductive health in men and women. They were also used as food or tea to aid digestion and regarded as a general health tonic.

Saw Palmetto as an herb is rich in bioactive compounds, including fatty acids like lauric acid and oleic acid, phytosterols like beta-sitosterol and stigmasterol, flavonoids like quercetin and luteolin, triterpenes, and polysaccharides. These compounds deliver antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-androgenic effects, supporting prostate health and the urinary tract.

Saw Palmetto has been shown in scientific studies to:

  • Support prostate health

  • Support normal urination patterns in men

  • Influence androgen-driven hair loss

  • Ease abdominal discomfort
